So, I've had DArt for 4 days now, and I must say that I'm absolutely addicted!
To the point where I log on every 5 minutes just to see if I have any "new messages" - which BTW aren't actually messages

I love almost everything about this site, but there are some things I don't like. And being the annoying little panda that I am, I'm going to point 2 of them out.

Spam-a-lot

The first day I had DA I spent a lot of my time browsing and commenting on other peoples work, I totally regretted it afterwards though. To every single comment I made I got a response saying "Thank you" or "thanks" or whatever. You know what that was like? Logging on to see that I had 30 messages and ALL of them were saying the same thing. And not even on my own profile, but on the pics itself. I mean geez people, I know you're thankful for the positive comment, and if you really want to express your gratitude you'd go look at my work and leave a comment of your own there!

I soon realised the reason for this though, and I happen to think it's a major flaw on the D-Art website.

The only way to get rid of "messages" (which aren't even messages really, more like notifications) is to either delete them, move them to a folder or to hit "reply". If you don't do that, every time you log on you'll have the same amount of messages at the top of your screen as before.

Another thing that causes me frustration is:

Categories-shmategories

They're so confusing! Especially the ones related to photography.. Photo manipulation or just Photos? I thought it seemed obvious, that photo-manipulation photos are ones that are edited? Right? Effects and so on? But when I click on the normal photography link almost all the photos are manipulated in one way or another. So I get really confused.. Also all the different poetry categories.. Just when I think that I've picked my category, I click on it to find poems that are nothing like mine at all.

Other than that, I'm totally addicted and I'm so glad I've found this place! There are soo many cool pics/poems/stories etc. on here. I love it.
